The first phase of campus placement will start from December 1, 2012 at IIT Madras according to a press release. The second phase will commence from January 16, 2013.
Luxury car makers Mercedes Benz, Rolls Royce and Toshiba Corporation are few names among the companies participating in the campus recruitment season for the first time at IIT Madras.
The students of IIT Madras are looking forward to getting placed in Procter and Gamble, Walmart, Bajaj Auto, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, MRF Tyres with lucrative offers, in the first phase beginning from Saturday, the press release says.
Other fortune companies participating in the campus interview activities are Boston Consulting Group, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, ITC Ltd, Google India, Sony, Shell, Facebook, Morgan Stanley, Microsoft, IBM and Samsung Electronics.
A total of about 1300 students are expected to participate in the campus recruitment event.
