Indian handset maker, Karbonn, in collaboration with Innominds Technologies are going to launch this Diwali a whole of indigenous tablet specifically to satisfy the needs of education sector. The tablet is powered by Qualcomm Technologies Inc’s SnapDragon processor. The Karbonn Agnee, to be available in three versions, one of which to be launched on the occasion of Diwali and other two in the following month, is completely designed and produced in India.
The tablet will be customised to the Indian experience in terms of the apps and experience. It will come with preloaded applications based on education, entertainment and general interests like newspapers, reading, usage and directory related services. The Karbonn Agnee is a 3G voice and data enabled tablet.
With Karbonn Agnee being the first 3G tablet based on QRD, Innominds aims to come up with future designs adapted for retail and other industry verticals, leveraging QTI Reference Design (QRD).
