Aniruddha Batra, an engineering student of BITS Pilani has topped the CMAT with a grand score of 330 out of 400 marks in his maiden attempt. The boy appeared in CMAT just for the sake of practicing time management says that he actually intents to crack the CAT and the goal is any of the top management schools – IIM-A, IIM-B or IIM-C.
Batra attributes the overall difficulty level of CMAT as moderate. Papers on Mathematics and Logical Reasoning are more or less similar to the CAT but the level of English is different, he said.
Batra took coaching from a leading coaching centre at Pilani and believes that the key to performing well in any exam is being regular with the course material and studies. Keeping up with the assignments and taking mocks regularly is the key to success, says Aniruddha. He recommends regular practice to master in mathematics.
