As many as 34 private primary schools were identified operating without any permission from civic agency in an inspection drive conducted by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. Those schools were promptly declared as illegal by the authorities of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on Wednesday, the communication said.
The illegal institutions comprised 27 English medium schools, four Hindi medium schools, two Marathi medium schools and one Urdu medium school.
