Joint Entrance Screening Test Date 17 Feb., 2013 Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) is a gateway for admission to Ph.D / Integrated Ph.D Programme in Physics or Theoretical Computer Science courses. The exam is scheduled to be held on February 17, 2013. Candidates can appear for the JEST exam in Physics or Theoretical Computer Science, but not for both. JEST results will be declared in March and interviews will begin from the last week of April.

Students seeking admission to any of the above mentioned institutes are advised to visit the respective website of the institute to get program details and subject areas being offered. Each of the participating institutes has its own eligibility criteria, which is published on the respective website. The syllabus for the test is based on that of graduation and post-graduation level courses offered by various Indian universities and institutions.

JEST Applying Procedure :

Application forms for JEST will be available from November to December 2012. One can apply online or by ordinary post.

The JEST will be conducted at 35 JEST exam centres across India.
