CBSE said that the test will be conducted in Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu apart from Hindi and English. The syllabus for NEET-UG has already been notified by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The NEET-UG syllabus was finalised after review of various state syllabi as well as those prepared by CBSE, NCERT and COBSE to establish uniformity across the country, keeping in view the relevance of different areas in medical education, an MCI official is learnt to have said.
